The company&#8217;s move addresses the need for mobile EV charging in areas where fixed infrastructure is still lacking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe recognized a demand among our customers for convenient daily charging, reliable private charging networks, and proper charging infrastructure to support their fleet vehicles as they transition to electric,\u201d said Dan Hunter, Yoshi Mobility\u2019s chief EV officer and co-founder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yoshi Mobility\u2019s new 240 kW mobile DC fast charger can turn \u201cany EV\u201d into a mobile charging unit, boasting the distinction of being the first fully electric mobile charger available. The unit can handle multiple charges on a single trip, although the company has not disclosed specifics about how the DC fast charger itself is charged or its manufacturer. When asked for details, the company stated it would not yet disclose client names or the manufacturer&#8217;s identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The launch involves two GM BrightDrop Zevo 600s, with plans to introduce more vehicles throughout 2024. Full commercialization is targeted for the first quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yoshi Mobility has already deployed its EV charging solutions for \u201cmajor OEMs, autonomous vehicle companies, and rideshare operators\u201d across the US. Its initial clientele includes large EV operators managing \u201chundreds\u201d of light-duty vehicles that require up to 1 megawatt of energy per day and lack access to grid-connected EV chargers. Additional details on these clients have been requested and will be updated as available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pricing for Yoshi&#8217;s service varies based on location and enterprise charging needs.
